Smart classrooms are installed at 12 Poonch colleges
On Thursday, Poonch Deputy Commissioner Yasin M. Choudhary opened the smart classrooms in twelve government schools in the district.
Equipped with advanced technological instruments, the facility was set up in many locations, including the Girls Pahari Hostel, Boys Pahari Hostel, Parisha Child Care, Palash Child Care, KGBV-Balakote, and KGBV-Saral.
According to an official, the program “aims to provide schoolchildren with additional opportunities to engage with the content alongside their peers and teachers, aligned with GoI’s Digital India initiative.”
The program’s objectives are to provide students the chance to gain IT and digital skills and to give teachers the tools they need to successfully incorporate digital technologies into their lesson plans, which will increase student engagement and efficiency.
