The results of GATE 2024 will be made public today via gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Here’s how to check

Today, March 16, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is going to release the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) results. Those who took the GATE 2024 test may see their results by visiting gate2024.iisc.ac.in, the official website. Candidates may check their results by logging in to the GATE 2024 Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) site when the results are made public. IISc is anticipated to publish the cut-off information for the year 2024 in addition to the results.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and seven IITs collaborated to organize the test. An astounding 6.8 lakh people applied for the GATE 2024 test this year. Exam days were February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The purpose of this national entrance test is to provide employment prospects in the public and commercial sectors as well as admittance to prestigious universities for postgraduate programs including ME, MTech, and PhD.

On March 23, 2024, candidates may see their scorecards on the GOAPS site after the release of the GATE 2024 results. For qualified individuals, this scorecard is crucial since it allows them to apply via GATE for MTech programs or PSU career chances.

GATE 2024: THE COUNSELING METHOD
The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and the Centralized Counseling for MTech (CCMT) are the two primary parts of GATE counseling. Based on GATE 2024 results, COAP makes admissions to IITs easier, while CCMT oversees admissions to GFTIs, NITs, and IITs.

Through COAP, applicants may see their seat assignments for MTech and other technical programs at prestigious IITs and IISc Bangalore, as well as their GATE 2024 scores. Candidates have the option to accept, reject, or keep their allotted seats via the COAP site.

Conversely, CCT advises students wishing to enroll in M Arch/M Tech/M Des/M Plan courses at participating NITs and GFTIs based on their GATE 2024 results. The GATE 2024 CCMT counseling schedule, which consists of five phases, will be available on the official website, ccmt.admissions.nic.in.

GATE 2024: OFFSET REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for GATE, students need to fulfill requirements laid out by IISc. There are two parts to it: the “admission cut-off” and the “qualifying cut-off.”

The minimal score required to pass the GATE test is known as the qualifying cut-off. It differs according to the candidate’s category and for each of the thirty specialties. This deadline is announced by the institution upon the release of the findings.

The lowest score needed by applicants to be admitted to various institutions is known as the admission cut-off. Depending on the subject and applicant type, each institution determines its own admission cut-off. Throughout the admissions process, certain deadlines are disclosed.
