There are 2,991 open positions in the Mizoram School Education Department

The Mizoram school education department now has 2,991 open positions, as reported by Education Minister Dr. Vanlalthlana to the state assembly on Tuesday. In response to a question from Prova Chakma of the opposition Mizo National Front (MNF), the minister said that actions are being conducted to fill the open position in accordance with the current recruiting guidelines.

He declared that hiring decisions would be based only on merit. According to Vanlalthlana, the government would rationalize the number of instructors and prioritize the schools that have a teacher shortage.
