Two of the Consortium of National Law Universities’ Questions Are Removed from CLAT 2024

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 results, which were earlier supposed to be 120 marks, will now be revealed tomorrow as an out of 118 mark. The choice was made in response to today’s publication of the CLAT 2024 final answer key by the Consortium of National Law University.

instead of the previously announced 120 marks in an official statement posted on the CLAT 2024 website.

Due to the withdrawal of one question from the Legal Reasoning section and one from the English Language section, the marks have been lowered. Additionally, one of the questions in the section on legal reasoning has a revised solution.

The notice said as follows: “The Oversight Committee will make a decision based on the recommendations of the Subject Expert Committee, which examined the applicants’ complaints to the questions and answer keys. After giving those suggestions some thought, the Oversight Committee ultimately suggested the following adjustments to the CLAT 2024 Question Booklets and Answer Keys.”

After reviewing the suggestions from the Oversight Committee, the Executive Council of the Consortium of National Law Universities accepted the suggested revisions or amendments.

The date of the CLAT results announcement is December 10, 2023. By entering their login credentials, candidates who took the test will be able to see the results on the official website.
