7 accused in a Rs 2.45 crore scam

Seven people have been charged with allegedly defrauding a resident of Lohara out of Rs 2.45 crore by pretending to issue several insurance. The identities of the other four defendants are still unknown, although Sharanjeet Singh, Rajeshwari, Captain, and Varsha have been recognized. Since December 2018, they have been charged with fraud in connection with the complaint.

Gurnam Singh, a resident of Lohara village, said that the accused conspiratorially got large sums of money from him by feigning to get insurance from many firms. He said that after taking Rs 2.45 crore from him, the accused never gave it back. At the Daba Police Station, a case has been filed.
