A car that speeds on the wrong side kills a six-year-old city youngster

Nagpur: Outside a wedding reception location on Velahari Road in the city’s suburbs, a six-year-old KG-I kid was crushed to death by a fast automobile that was being driven on the wrong side. The dead Chirayu Pawar dashed outside the venue to view a fireworks display staged as part of the wedding festivities as the automobile was traveling from Velahari Road towards Besa.

The younger of the two siblings, Chirayu, was struck by the automobile and slid under its wheels, suffering injuries to his head.

Rather than running away, the driver who is accused, Yogesh Mohadikar, assisted his family carry the youngster to Government Medical College and Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. After leaving GMCH, Mohadikar went to the police station in Hudkeshwar and turned himself up.

The tragedy made the festivities for the Pawar family, who are from Waddhamna, sad. After performing serious marriage rites at Ramtek, the family arrived at the location. To commemorate the event, the family organized a fireworks display outside the reception location. According to family members, Chirayu’s mother, Kiran, stays at home while his father, Anod, works as a technician in the car sector. Lakshya is Chirayu’s older brother.

According to the family, the fast-moving vehicle was being driven on the incorrect side. Mohadikar was attempting to dodge the exploding crackers, which forced him to drift into the other lane and cause the catastrophe, according to Hudkeshwar police sources.
An eyewitness claims that because of a vehicle parked in front of the site, which may have obscured his view, Mohadikar may not have observed Chirayu hurrying out to watch the firework display.
