A CRPF soldier is killed by bullet wounds in Pulwama, J&K

In the Pulwama area of J&K on Saturday, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) policeman suffered bullet wounds and passed away.

According to officials, shots were fired at approximately 1:50 am today near the Steel Authority of India godown in Chersoo village in Pulwama district. A CRPF jawan was later seen lying in a pool of blood.

“The bullet wounds caused the jawan to pass away immediately. The jawan has been identified as 112 battalion constable Ajay Kumar. After all medical and legal requirements were completed, inquest proceedings were started. The suspected cause of death looks to be suicide, but the precise cause of death cannot be determined until the inquiry is over, according to the police.
