A program called Swachhata Hi Seva is run by BSF Tripura

As part of the ceremonies honoring Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, the Border Security Force (BSF) launched the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign on Sunday in Tripura.

An official statement from the BSF stated: “On the occasion of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, on 1st October, together by Seema Prahari for one hour, a special program to clean the Mohanpur road was organized from 10 am to 11 am.”

According to the central force, the cleaning drive covered a total of 5 kilometres of route.

Similar sorts of events have been organized at 21 locations across Tripura by under command groups. This push also featured programs at BSF campuses and distant surrounding areas in addition to those in public settings. RK Singh, DIG (PSO), Officiating IG was the major guest at Frontier Headquarters BSF Tripura, according to a release from the organization.

Earlier in New Delhi, 500 officers and soldiers under the command of BSF DG Nitin Agrawal took part in the cleaning effort at the Humayun’s Tomb, Sunder Nursery, and Gurudwara Damdama Sahib.

The Swachh Bharat campaign included participation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Swachh Bharat, according to PM Modi, is the common duty of all Indian people, and public engagement is crucial to achieving this goal. He urged everyone to volunteer one hour on Sunday at 10 am to keep the nation clean and contribute to its future prosperity.

‘Garbage Free India’ is the focus of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ in 2023. The subject emphasizes on the wellbeing and aesthetic quality of SafaiMitras.

Today, as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, leaders from all around the nation took part in the “Shramdaan for Cleanliness” program.
