According to MP CM Chouhan, Vajpayee inaugurated a new era of good governance

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, paid homage to BJP icon Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Wednesday, the anniversary of his passing. He said the former prime minister began a new era of excellent government and lived his life in the service of the country.

In 2018, Vajpayee passed away at the age of 93. At Vajpayee’s statue at the Shaurya Smarak junction in Bhopal, Chouhan presented floral tributes with Madhya Pradesh BJP President VD Sharma, ministers, and MLAs.

“Atal Ji’s whole life was devoted to the interests of the country, ushering in a new age of excellent government. The wellbeing of the country and society will always be inspired by your ideas and ideals, Chouhan said in a post on X, previously known as Twitter.

At the state party headquarters in the morning, MP BJP leaders recalled Vajpayee’s contributions to the party and the country. In addition to effectively leading a coalition government for six years, during which he promoted reforms and improved infrastructure, Vajpayee is credited for popularizing the BJP beyond its core.
