Adoption rights are not fundamental: High Court

Delhi, New: The Delhi High Court ruled that prospective parents do not have the right to choose a kid to adopt and that the right to adopt cannot be a fundamental right.

Top civilian award for Tharoor in France
New Delhi: On Tuesday, visiting French Senate Chairman Gérard Larcher awarded former minister Shashi Tharoor the title of “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” (Knight of the Legion of Honour). Tharoor received the highest civilian award from France in appreciation of his efforts to strengthen Indo-French relations.

New Delhi: Using DigiLocker, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) awarded academic credentials on Tuesday. Undergraduate and graduate students will have access to their credentials using the official app, which is available for download at digilocker.gov.in/installapp.
