After Lebanon launches an anti-tank missile into Israel, one Indian man is killed and two others are wounded

NEW DELHI: On Monday, an anti-tank missile fired into an orchard close to Margaliot, Israel’s northern border, killed an Indian person. According to authorities, at least two more people were hurt when the rocket was launched from Lebanon.

Around 11 a.m. on Monday, the missile struck a plantation in Margaliot, in the Galilee area of northern Israel, according to Zaki Heller, a spokesman for rescue services at Magen David Adom (MDA).

“In the assault, Patnibin Maxwell from Kollam, Kerala, lost his life. Ziv Hospital recognized his deadly remains, “official sources claimed.
Bush-Joseph George and Paul Melvin, who are also from Kerala, have been injured and are receiving medical attention at various hospitals, according to them.
“George sustained injuries to his face and torso and was sent to the Beilinson hospital in Petah Tikva. After surgery, he was placed under close supervision. He was able to communicate with his Indian relatives,” a PTI government source said.
Melvin, who was born in the Idukki region of Kerala, is receiving treatment at Ziv Hospital in Safed, in northern Israel.
The strike is thought to have been carried out by the Shi’ite Hezbollah group in Lebanon, which has been supporting Hamas during the current conflict in the Gaza Strip by shooting rockets, missiles, and drones toward northern Israel on a daily basis since October 8.
According to MDA, the assault caused injuries to seven foreign workers in all, two of which were critical. The wounded workers were transported to Beilinson, Rambam, and Ziv hospitals using Israeli Air Force helicopters and ambulances.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Monday that they had retaliated by using artillery to bombard the launch location.
The Israeli Defense Forces (MIDF) also said that it had hit two Hezbollah locations: one near Ayta ash-Shab, southern Lebanon, and another at a complex where the organization was meeting.
Since October 8, Hezbollah has been attacking Israeli villages and military installations in the north, claiming the operations are in support of Gaza.
Ten IDF troops and seven civilians have died as a consequence of the battles between Israel and Hezbollah.
229 members of Hezbollah have been identified as having been murdered by Israel during recent outbursts. The majority of Hezbollah’s fatalities occurred in Lebanon, with a smaller number also occurring in Syria.
Since October 8, at least 30 civilians, a Lebanese soldier, and another 37 operatives from other factions have also perished.
