Ambala: Truck driver is booked after RTO employee is shoved out of a moving vehicle

A truck driver was arrested by the Ambala police on Tuesday for throwing an RTO office employee out of a moving car.

In his police complaint, Suresh Kumar said that when RTO personnel were inspecting cars close to Kalalti village on March 26, he, as a peon, worked at the Ambala Cantonment RTO office. A truck travelling from Naraingarh was stopped for inspection, and during inspection, authorities discovered that the vehicle lacked a valid fitness certificate, insurance, pollution certificate, and tax-related documentation. Suresh continued, saying he was one of the staff members at the check. The authorities then made the decision to impair the car. Park the truck at the Markanda parking lot per the Regional Transport Officer’s instructions. As they got closer to Nohani village, Suresh Kumar said, the driver shoved him out of the moving car and ran away. He had been directed to follow the driver and get the car parked in the yard.

The Mullana police station has the driver’s case recorded.
