Amritsar: Drug overdose kills a young person

Sonu, a 21-year-old from Gaunsabad village, is said to have overdosed on drugs and died here on Saturday. He was receiving care at GND Hospital. In response to his father Gurwel Singh’s confession, the Kamboh police have detained a young man named Raju, who is suspected of giving him the injection.

Gurwel informed the police that his kid was scheduled to travel to the Gaunsabad bus terminal on April 25. He happened to run across his buddy Sunny and his companion Raju while traveling. He stated he wasn’t feeling well when he got back at around 11 p.m. He admitted to them, under questioning, that Raju had given him an injection that made him drunk. He said that after rushing his kid to GND Hospital, he passed on the previous day.
