An additional Haryana police officer perishes during a recent farmers’ demonstration near the Shambhu border

Tuesday marked the death of another police officer stationed at the Shambhu border, according to authorities, who was on duty during the farmers’ protest and died a few days earlier.

Exemptee Sub-Inspector (ESI) Kaushal Kumar was posted at the Shambhu border when he unexpectedly became unwell while on duty. He was taken to the Civil Hospital in Ambala, where medical professionals pronounced him dead, according to police.

He was positioned close to the Ghaggar under the bridge.

Shatrujeet Kapur, the Director General of Police, offered his sympathies.

Standing at the accounts branch in Ambala, the 56-year-old was a resident of Yamunanagar district’s Kanjiwas hamlet.

GRP Sub-Inspector Hiralal, who was stationed at the Shambhu border, passed away unexpectedly on February 16 as a result of bad health.

As a result, ESI Kaushal Kumar is now the second member of the Haryana Police to die while doing their duties at the Shambhu border in the middle of the current protest by farmers.
