An agency raids the premises of Delhi AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav one day after Kejriwal was sent to ED custody

According to reports quoted by news agency ANI, the Enforcement Directorate began raiding the home of AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav, who represents Delhi’s Matiala constituency. The raids took place on Saturday. The operation takes place one day after Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the AAP and the chief minister of Delhi, was placed under house arrest for six days by the federal agency in relation to a money-laundering case involving the suspected Delhi Excise Policy fraud.

The country’s governing BJP, according to Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, is “putting the entire Opposition in jail” in response to the raid on Gulab Singh’s property. “This country is following the path of Russia,” he said.North Korea, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and now India are following in these footsteps. The biggest democracy in the world is now headed toward a dictatorship where people’s fundamental rights will be eliminated and opposition will be silenced.”

“Our top 4 leaders are in jail under false cases,” the AAP representative said. We are running in Gujarat, and now there is a raid on the party’s Gujarat in charge, Gulab Singh Yadav. I have little doubt that AAP leaders and other opposition leaders will soon be searched, frightening the opposition into silence.”
