At Bikaner, the PM dedicates national projects worth Rs 24,300 crore

At a special ceremony at the Norangdesar toll plaza in Bikaner, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the cornerstone and dedicated national development projects totaling over Rs 24,300 crore, saying that the Green Field Motorway would boost the region’s economic activity.

The prime minister arrived at Naal Airport around 5:00 p.m., and in the presence of his Union cabinet colleagues Nitin Gadkari, Arjun Meghwal, Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra, and two Rajasthan Ministers, Dr. B D Kalla and Bhanwar Singh Bhati, he launched all major projects by pressing a remote control.

The prime minister said that small company owners and small-scale companies will gain the most from this infrastructure effort. He noted the Achaar, papad, and namkeen produced in Bikaner and said that with improved connection, these small enterprises will be able to export their goods anywhere in the globe.

He cited the Vibrant Village programme for the long-forgotten border communities as part of the ongoing development initiatives in Rajasthan. “We designated the frontier villages as the nation’s “first villages. resulting in growth in these places and a resurgence of interest in travel across the nation,” Modi added.

Rajasthan, according to the prime minister, has always been capable and promising. Due to this potential for expansion, the state saw record-breaking investment. In order to take advantage of the limitless potential for industrial expansion, connectivity is becoming hi-tech. According to him, high-speed motorways and railroads would boost tourist prospects for the state’s young.

According to Modi, the today-opened Green Field Motorway would link Rajasthan with Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, and Jammu and Kashmir. It will also make major commercial seaports like Jamnagar and Kandla accessible from Bikaner and Rajasthan.

He emphasised the improved connection with oil field refineries, which would enhance the supply and provide speed to economic improvements in the nation. “This Greenfield Motorway will strengthen the economic activities in entire western India,” he added.

The prime minister emphasised the importance of Rajasthan’s railways while discussing the doubling of the railway line. He emphasised that after 2014, Rajasthan got an average of Rs 10,000 crores year, as opposed to less than Rs 1000 crores annually between 2004 and 2014.

The prime minister said that the state has always been rich in potential and capability. He said that the reason unprecedented amounts of money are being invested in the state is because of its potential for expansion. The projects included the opening of a new 30-bed Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) hospital in Bikaner as well as the dedication of the six-lane Greenfield Motorway section of the Amritsar-Jammagar Economic Corridor, Phase-I of the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor, and the Phase-I of the Inter-State Transmission Line for Green Energy Corridor.

Modi laid the cornerstone for the 43 km long Churu-Ratangarh section railway line expansion and the refurbishment of the Bikaner Railway Station, which is expected to cost roughly Rs 450 crores.
