At the Nashik temple, PM Modi plays the cymbals as the priests sing Ram Bhajan

New Delhi/Nashik: In advance of the National Youth Festival’s opening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi staged a massive roadshow in Nashik, Maharashtra, today.
Following the tour, Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, offered prayers at Shree Kalaram Mandir.

He was seen singing Ram Bhajan as numerous priests were seated at the temple and he was playing cymbals, a musical instrument.

The Ramayana’s “Yudh Kanda” section, which describes Lord Rama’s homecoming to Ayodhya, was also sung by the priests. The words came to him in Hindi even though the section was performed in Marathi using an AI translation technology.

Additionally, he went to Ramkund on the banks of the Godavari River, where he was presented with a customary turban, or “pagdi.” There, the Prime Minister gave a “aarti” and a “Jal Pujan.”

Later in the day, PM Modi will open Mumbai’s Atal Setu, the country’s longest sea bridge. The construction of Atal Setu came at a cost of almost ₹ 17,840 crore.

He will also attend a public gathering in Navi Mumbai following the inauguration.
