Before attempting to take his own life, a Kerala man kills his wife and daughter
In Paravur, in the southern district of Kollam, Kerala, a man is accused of slicing the throats of his wife and daughter before trying to take his own life on Tuesday.
According to authorities, Sreeju, a 46-year-old man from Poothakkulam, is the culprit and is suspected of giving them poison before slitting their throats.
This morning, Sreenandha, 12, and his wife, Preetha, 39, were discovered dead in their home.
According to Paravur police, despite Sreeju’s attempts to murder himself and his older son Sreerag (17), both of them were discovered in severe condition.
Financial issues are considered to be the cause of the deaths and suicide attempts, according to a police official.
Sreeju works as a mason by trade.
The father and his youngster are receiving medical attention. The dad was brought to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, and the son has been admitted to a neighboring hospital, he added.
The police said that further information can only be released after a thorough investigation.
