Bihar Education Board Regarding the State Teacher Eligibility Test’s “No Negative Marking”

The Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) curriculum has been made public by the Bihar Board and is available to candidates via http://bsebstet.com, the board’s official website.

Importantly, the Bihar STET Exam application window was still open until August 23, and registered applicants who hadn’t paid their fees yet had until August 29 to do so.

There will be no negative marking for the 150-point Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test. 100 subject-specific questions will be on the test, while teaching techniques and competences will get an extra 50 points.

The Bihar STET test is computer-based and consists of multiple-choice questions. Each correct solution earns one point. Teachers of classes IX and X are the focus of Paper One, whereas teachers of classes 11 and 12 are served by Paper 2.

Syllabus

Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, and Dance are among the subjects covered. Sanskrit, Bengali, Maithili, Maghi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Hindi, Urdu, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture, Music, and Botany are all included in the curriculum.

Maximum Age

The Bihar School Examination Board has not imposed an upper age restriction on applicants for the Bihar TET 2023 Exam, which must be at least 18 years old.

eligibility requirements

For Paper One applicants, eligibility requirements include that they have a graduation degree and a B.Ed degree from a state or central institution. For individuals who are interested in Paper Two, requirements include a Postgraduate (PG) degree and a B.Ed. from a state or central board.
