BJP Minority Cell Leader: Minority Communities Received the Most Benefits from Welfare Programs Under the Modi Administration

Sufi M. K. Chishty, national general secretary of the minority cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party, said that throughout the previous nine years of the Narendra Modi administration, Muslims and members of other minority groups benefited more from social programs.

Speaking at a rally on Saturday in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra’s Thane district to highlight the accomplishments of the Modi administration, Chishty also criticized the Congress, saying it simply provided guarantees to the populace during its 50 years in power but did not carry out any actual work.

Muslims and members of other minority populations, according to Chishty, profited from a number of Modi government programs, including those relating to housing, health care, and farmer welfare.

According to him, the percentage of Muslims working for the government has increased from 4.5% in 2014 to 10.5% during the last nine years.

He said that the BJP and the Modi administration do not engage in discrimination against individuals based on their caste, creed, or religion.

According to Chishty, Modi is the only prime leader to have received the highest honors from Muslim nations, and “our motto is’sabka saath sabka vikas’.”
