BJP refers to it as “baraat” corruption
The Delhi BJP called the Sunday gathering of the INDIA bloc at Ramlila Maidan in this city a “flop show,” as the opposition parties attempted to “protect their political families” from being accused of corruption.
According to Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) parties’ “Bharshtachar Bachao, Parivar Bachao” event was a “flop show,” and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) failed to draw a crowd.
“The families of Congressmen who pillaged the nation, Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, and Shibu Soren, who was accused of corruption, were present at the gathering. At the gathering was Arvind Kejriwal’s family, who is being held by the ED on corruption-related allegations, according to Sachdeva.
He said that the AAP, which is running for 22 seats in the Lok Sabha, has turned into a “laughing stock” since it has given six promises to people nationwide.
“The leaders of the Delhi Congress and AAP, who were boasting about the rally’s attendance for the past week, were unable to motivate their own party members to participate, let alone the citizens of Delhi,” he said.
The leaders of the INDIA bloc, whom Kejriwal referred to as corrupt, were reportedly assembled at Ramlila Maidan by BJP MP Manoj Tiwari in opposition to his apprehension about the liquor scandal.
He predicted that AAP and Kejriwal’s ascent to prominence in politics would occur in the same Ramlila Maidan.
