Latest News on Vande Bharat Express: The second Vande Bharat Express train for Uttarakhand is scheduled to begin service by Indian Railways, departing from Dehradun and arriving in Lucknow. Following a meeting in Delhi on November 4 of last year, between Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a decision was made.
Dehradun and Lucknow Vande Bharat Express: Total Travel Time and Distance Covered
The Vande Bharat Express Train will enable passengers to travel the 545 miles between Dehradun and Lucknow in less than nine hours, thanks to its launch. The same distance was traveled by the former superfast express trains on the route in 10:15 and 10:40 hours, respectively.
Dehradun and Lucknow Vande Bharat Express: Unique Attributes
There will be eight coaches on the Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express train, including an AC chair car and an AC executive chair car. The two main cities’ connection will be enhanced with the new train. In addition to facilitating opulent travel with first-rate amenities, the new train will boost tourism in the state capitals.
Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Meerut, and Anand Vihar Terminal are among the major cities connected by the inaugural Vande Bharat Express, which was introduced in May. The Lucknow-Dehradun Vande Bharat Train’s routes
The Lucknow–Dehradun line will be serviced by the new Vande Bharat Express train. The Dehradun-Gorakhpur Express and the Dehradun-Howrah Superfast Express will trail this new train as the quickest on the route.
