Congress creates a tactical effort to encourage youth voting

Devender Yadav, the head of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, has taken the initiative to reach out to younger people and bolster support for the India bloc and Congress candidates. Yadav has given the presidents of the young Congress and NSUI the responsibility of spearheading motivational and publicity campaigns at the booth level, acknowledging the critical role that young people play in preserving democracy and forming the future of the country.

“We have outlined a comprehensive strategy to mobilize young voters, with the NSUI and Youth Congress at the forefront,” Yadav stated, underscoring the Delhi Congress’s commitment to making sure that the voices of all demographics, especially the youth, are heard in this important election.

Chairman of the Campaign and Strategy Committee, Haroon Yusuf, a former minister of Delhi, and Chairman of the Communications Department, Anil Bhardwaj, have been assigned to supervise the PR efforts at the booth level. Their direction will direct the Youth Congress and NSUI’s activities as they work to inspire and involve young voters in Delhi.

Yadav addressed the worrisome problem of unemployment during the BJP government’s term, expressing disappointment at historically high rates of joblessness and broken promises. Yadav reaffirmed, underscoring the party’s commitment to its manifesto pledges: “The Congress is committed to tackling the pressing issue of unemployment by filling the 30 lakh job vacancies in various Central Government offices.”

Bhardwaj emphasized how crucial it is to back the India bloc in order to guarantee young voters a better future. According to Bhardwaj, “the Youth Congress and NSUI teams will fight relentlessly for policies that empower youth and combat rising unemployment.”
