Congress establishes a committee to coordinate the elections in Telangana

Manickam Tagore, a party MP and whip in the Lok Sabha, is a member of the election coordination committee the Congress established on Thursday for the Telangana assembly elections.

Party executives Deepa Das Munshi, Meenakshi Natarajan, and Kunduru Jana Reddy are also on the panel in addition to Tagore.

According to a statement from the party, “Congress President has approved the proposal for the constitution of Election Coordination Committee for the upcoming assembly election in Telangana – 2023, with immediate effect.”

According to the party, Telangana’s Chelvella Lok Sabha seat has designated MP M K Vishnu Prasad as an observer with immediate effect.

Another statement from the Congress claimed that Pawan Khera has also been selected as an AICC observer to supervise the media preparations for the assembly elections in Rajasthan with immediate effect.

Telangana will have elections on November 30, while Rajasthan will hold elections for its legislature on November 25.
