Congress protests in front of the Mohali I-T Department headquarters

Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, organized a demonstration today outside the Income Tax (I-T) Department Office in Mohali to denounce the oppressive methods used by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against opposition groups and the general public.

Speaking to the assembly, Warring said that the demonstration served as a warning to the BJP and its associated organizations. He claimed that the misuse of power organized by the BJP leadership could not scare the party.

Raja Warring said, “I promise to thwart the proliferation of BJP’s RSS ideology nationwide,” denouncing the party’s efforts. Whatever challenges the BJP throws against us, we see them as opportunities from God to grow and we will not give up. As seen by the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the BJP’s electoral bond plan, our trust in the legal system is steadfast. On election eve, our coffers are shut and immobilized, yet the BJP is still beyond reproach.
