On the official website ssc.nic.in, the results of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the Staff Selection Commission’s General Duty (GD) Constable 2023 have been released. The PET and PST were administered by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) at several locations throughout India.

The qualifying male and female applicants have now been chosen for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) out of the total 1.46 lakh applicants. At specified locations chosen by the CAPFs, the DME will be held. The DME procedure used by CAPF to hire SSC GD Constables in 2023 is described here.

DME for applicants, both genders

Candidates that made it through the PET/PST stage and were chosen will go on to the DME. The SSC GD Constable medical examination will start on July 17, according to an official announcement from the CRPF. This test attempts to confirm that applicants satisfy the standards for physical and medical fitness for admission to the CAPFs. Candidates who meet the requirements will go through a thorough medical examination performed by Medical Boards chosen by the CAPFs. The linked link has a full description of the requirements for physical and medical fitness.
