Excise’scam’: A Delhi court has extended Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial detention till May 20

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial detention in a money-laundering case involving the alleged excise fraud was extended by a Delhi court on Tuesday until May 20.

Kejriwal’s custody was extended till May 20 by Special Judge Kaveri Baweja for the CBI and ED after the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) appeared in court via video conference over the expiration of his previous custody order.

Chanpreet Singh, a co-accused, has had his judicial detention extended by the court till May 20.
