Following an encounter in Nuh, Haryana Police apprehend two gunmen from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Godara gang

Officials stated on Tuesday that two sharpshooters from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang were taken into custody after a short run-in with the law during which they were shot in the leg.

The accused, Vishal, also known as Kalu, 27, of Mahavirpura colony in Gurugram, and Ravi Kumar, 30, of Badu Sarai, close to Najafgarh in Delhi, were wounded in retaliatory gunfire, according to the police.

They alleged that the two fired ten rounds at them, with one of the bullets striking Sub Inspector Rakesh Kumar’s bulletproof jacket and the other hitting Inspector Manjeet Jaglan’s jacket of the Delhi Police’s Special Cell’s Counter Intelligence squad.

The two suspects were apprehended, according to the police, by a combined squad of the Nuh Police Crime Investigation Agency, the Counter Intelligence Unit, and the Special Task Force (STF) of the Haryana Police.

Three cartridges and two illegal 32-bore country-made handguns were also found in their hands, according to the police.

They said that both of the suspects were also sought in connection with the February murder of Sachin, a.k.a. Goda, a businessman from Gurugram, in Rohtak.

The police claimed to have information indicating that Ravi and Vishal had been seen in Nuh district.

A squad was then assembled, and at about ten o’clock on Monday night, the two were taken into custody after a short gunfight in a steep region close to Palla hamlet in Sadar, Nuh, according to the police.

“At the Sadar, Nuh police station, a FIR has been filed against the accused under the applicable provisions of the IPC and the Arms Act. According to a senior police official, accused Vishal is facing around nine instances of murder, robbery, and violations of the Arms Act, while accused Ravi is facing three cases, including murder.

According to the police, the suspects are receiving treatment at Medical College, Nalhar in Nuh.
