According to Khattar, “Education, health, security, self-respect, self-reliance, and good governance are priority areas for the state government, on which work is being done continuously.” According to him, once the BJP took control of the state and the federal government, development took a new course.

In addition to the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao program, he said that both the federal and state governments have made other efforts to ensure the protection of women. According to him, his administration has increased the state’s literacy rate.
