IMD forecasts dry conditions until April 4

Farmers who are in the midst of the rabi crop harvest season will get respite from the weather as it is expected to be dry for the next three days, with occasional gloomy circumstances in certain areas.

The average low temperature in the state fell by 1.1°C from Saturday to Sunday, but it was still 2°C over normal, according to the IMD, which said there would be no change in the weather until April 4. The state’s lowest temperature was 17.0°C in Hisar, according to IMD data, which is 3.7°C colder than the minimum temperature from the previous day.

On Sunday, Pandu Pindara in the Jind district similarly had a low temperature of 17.0°C. According to the IMD, the lowest temperature on Sunday surpassed the 95th percentile in certain districts of southeast Haryana, including Gurugram, Nuh, Palwal, and the surrounding areas.

While the average maximum temperature on Sunday was 1.6°C lower than the average maximum temperature on Saturday. Still, the state’s temperature is 1.1°C above average.

Nuh had the state’s highest temperature of 37.1°C. The maximum temperature for the next three days is not expected to move much, according to the IMD.

The Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) Agriculture Meteorological Department predicted that the weather will be dry with intermittent cloudy and daytime breezes.

After April 4, there might be a shift in the weather, according to the HAU statement.
