In Dasuya village, a constable was cremated with state honors

This afternoon, Constable Amritpal Singh was buried in his hometown of Jandor village in Dasuya. He was slain on Sunday during a raid in Mansoorpur village of Mukerian while trying to apprehend criminal Sukhwinder Singh Rana.

There were ceremonial honors for his cremation. In addition to a job for one family member, SSP, Hoshiarpur, Surendra Lamba, said that the government and police will be providing the deceased’s family with Rs 2 crore in assistance.

The fallen soldier was remembered by the DIG of Jalandhar Range, Dr. S. Bhupathi, ADC Rahul Chaba, MLA Dasuya, Karamveer Singh Ghumman, and former MLA Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal.

The dead individual is left by his spouse and their 1.5-year-old twin children. Amritpal had an emotional goodbye from his wife. The family of the policeman was in the armed services. His father was an Army retiree. His older brother is now an Army soldier. Another BSF Inspector was his grandpa.

Along with four other police officers, Constable Amritpal was part of the squad who raided Rana’s home on the suspicion that he had unlawfully kept firearms. Maybe well-prepared, the accused fired a gun that struck the officer.
