In the Lok Sabha election in Kaiserganj, Uttar Pradesh, the BJP withdraws MP Brij Bhushan Singh and instead fields his son

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday withdrew its candidate for the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha seat, the incumbent Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who was accused of sexual harassment by women wrestlers, in favor of his son Karan Bhushan Singh.

Additionally, Dinesh Pratap Singh was selected by the party as its candidate for the Rae Bareli constituency, an area that Congress leader Sonia Gandhi secured in 2019.
