Invoking Mahakal, PM Modi claims that Congress engages in solely appeasement politics

Prime Minister Modi vowed to Mahakal on Tuesday in the Hindi-majority states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, stating, “I bow before no one else, except Mahakal and the people of India.”

The PM made the statement during a rally in the Maoist-affected Balaghat area of eastern MP. He was advocating for two BJP candidates, Bharti Pardhi (Balaghat seat) and Union minister Faggan Singh Kulaste (Mandla-ST seat).

He attacked the Congress earlier in UP’s Pilibhit, accusing it of insulting Lord Ram by turning down the invitation to consecrate Ram Lalla in Ayodhya because to its “politics of appeasement.”

He traveled to Pilibhit in order to provide his support to Jitin Prasada, the BJP candidate who has taken Varun Gandhi’s seat as the MP. The Prime Minister noted that the Samajwadi Party was aligned with the Congress, a partner in the INDI Alliance, which was so firmly rooted in appeasement politics that it detested the building of the Ram temple and used every tactic to prevent it from happening.

Days after being refused a ticket to run, BJP MP Varun Gandhi made a noticeable absence from the PM Narendra Modi rally in Pilibhit.

“Abusing Modi is understandable, but some INDIA bloc partners are contesting the LS polls with a vow to destroy Sanatan Dharma,” Modi added, recalling the long-standing tie between Lord Ram and the Balaghat area, home to Rampayli hamlet, connected to the Lord Ram’s exile period.

He said that because of the government’s efforts to combat corruption, the INDIA bloc was especially irritated with him. “I’m cutting off all corrupt channels and transferring funds intended for the underprivileged straight into their accounts. “There is currently a crackdown on everyone who stole money from the impoverished,” he said.

“Good news for Varun”

Chief of the BJP’s Uttar Pradesh unit Bhupendra Chaudhary stated on Tuesday that the party must have had something positive in mind for Varun Gandhi in light of the incumbent Pilibhit MP’s absence from PM Narendra Modi’s rally in the seat. Varun Gandhi was not given a ticket by the party for the seat.
