‘Jan Ashirward Yatras’ to Be Launched by BJP Chief and Union Ministers in MP with Elections Coming Up

The Bharatiya Janata Party will launch ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatras’ in Madhya Pradesh from five locations in the first week of September, which would be attended by key officials including BJP president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

A state BJP spokesperson said on Tuesday that these yatras, a large-scale outreach initiative of the governing party ahead of elections, would pass through the Vindhya, Mahakaushal, Malwa, Gwalior-Chambal, and Bundelkhand districts before coming to an end in Bhopal.

According to him, Shah, Nadda, Rajnath Singh, and Nitin Gadkari, all Union ministers, would wave them off from various locations.

Madhya Pradesh will hold elections for its legislature this year.

The inaugural “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” (People’s Blessing March) will be launched by Nadda on September 3 in the Vindhya region’s Chitrakoot, and it will go via Niwari before arriving in Bhopal, the state capital.

On September 5, Shah will launch the second yatra from Mandla, which would go to Bhopal through Jabalpur, he added.

The Union Home Minister will lead off a second march from Sheopur in the Gwalior-Chambal area on the same day.

According to him, Gadkari would launch a march from Khandwa under the Indore division on September 6.

On September 4, the statement said, Defence Minister Singh would launch a yatra from Neemuch in the Malwa area.

All of these yatras will conclude on September 25 in Bhopal, where a “Karyakarta Mahakumbh” (massive assembly of party members) will be organized, according to state BJP secretary Rajneesh Agrawal.

According to Agrawal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to the event.
