Kangana Ranaut declares that she is glad to be Hindu and does not eat beef, in response to a past tweet that said there was nothing wrong with eating it
On Monday, Kangana Ranaut, the star running for Lok Sabha from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, made it clear that she “doesn’t consume beef.”
She said on X, “It is shameful that completely baseless rumors are being spread about me. I don’t consume beef or any other kind of red meat.”

An previous tweet from Kangana suggesting there was nothing wrong with eating beef reappeared online as she attempted to dispel rumors.
Last Monday, the BJP attacked Congressman and head of the Maharashtra Opposition Vijay Wadettiwar for his comments, stating that Ranaut had posted on X that she enjoyed eating beef and that the BJP had now granted her a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections.
