Karnataka chief minister-to-be, Congress, is mocked by Modi

Congress was described as “a party that always lied, deceived, and looted the people to fill its pockets” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Modi said at a rally in this state that the state’s Congress government has turned into an ATM for the party. He also mentioned a man in the governing party who is a “CM in waiting,” “Future CM,” “Super CM,” “Shadow CM,” and “Delhi Collection Minister.”

He said that the state’s discontent with the Congress administration is rising and that the NDA will prevail in each of the state’s 28 parliamentary seats. He urged the populace to support NDA candidates with their votes. With the new catchphrase, “Chaar June… Chaar Sou Paar,” Modi urged the populace to support the BJP and assist the NDA in gaining 400 seats for the development of Karnataka and India, with the goal of eradicating poverty, establishing an anti-corruption government, and assisting the country’s youth and farming community.

He honored former chief minister BS Yediyurappa for his services to the development of the BJP in the state, even back when he was not even a municipality councilor, as he began his Kannada address.

Yediyurappa said earlier in the day that the Congress administration had discontinued a programme that the BJP government had instituted that gave Rs 4,000 to every farmer.

Yediyurappa added that former prime minister HD Deve Gowda also said over the phone that he will support the BJP-JDS coalition in their election campaign to win all 28 seats.

There were a number of notable people in attendance, including JDS district president Kadidal Gopal, MP BY Raghavendra, former home minister Araga Jnanendra, Mangaluru BJP candidate Capt. Brijesh Chowta, JDS MLA Sharada Pooryanaik, and former MLA KB Prasanna Kumar.
