KTR visits his sister Kavitha in the Delhi ED office

At the Enforcement Directorate’s headquarters on Sunday, BRS leader K T Rama Rao visited his sister K Kavitha, who is being held in connection with the now-discontinued Delhi Excise Policy case as a money laundering suspect.

Kavitha, 46, was taken into custody on Friday from her home in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills and sent to Delhi. The next day, she was presented before a special PMLA court, and she was placed in ED custody until March 23.

While Kavitha was being held by the ED, the court let some family members, including her brother KTR, to see her for 30 minutes each day between 6-7 pm while she was on remand. According to official sources, KTR met Kavitha with the court’s approval. Kavitha, the daughter of former state chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, appeared before Special Judge M K Nagpal hearing ED cases on Saturday.
