Madhya Pradesh: A woman in the Jhabua district passes away after a tantrik thrashed her with chains

News from Madhya Pradesh In the Jhabua area of Madhya Pradesh, a 34-year-old lady lost her life after being struck with an iron chain as part of a tantric ritual. According to reports, the 34-year-old lady from Naganwat village was sent to a Tantrik by her family for treatment after she failed to conceive after 15 years of marriage.

The lady was subjected to three days of beatings during tantra kriya, which finally resulted in her death on Wednesday, January 3.

Police have opened an investigation and filed a complaint in this regard. Manjita married Prakash Damor fifteen years ago, but the couple has been childless for the last fifteen years.

After that, her parents and in-laws brought her to a tantric in the neighborhood, where he continued to beat her while accusing her of being possessed by a bad spirit. On the third day, the lady lost consciousness. She had already away by the time the family got her to the hospital.

Following the post-mortem examination on Thursday, the corpse was given to the family (January 4). Though the cause of death is unclear, the autopsy’s attending physicians said that there are unmistakable signs of beating on the corpse.

According to Jhabua SP Agam Jain, an inquiry has been conducted, and depending on the findings, additional action would be taken.
