Maharashtra: Shinde and Fadnavis visit the scene of the Buldhana bus accident

Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, and Devendra Fadnavis, his deputy, have arrived at the scene of the Buldhana bus accident on the Samruddhi Mahamarg motorway.

The ministers are right now surveying the scene of the disaster. The wounded will meet them at the hospital. On Saturday at about 1:30 am, an accident on the Samruddhi-Mahamarg Motorway in Buldhana, Maharashtra, claimed the lives of 25 individuals.

Police have detained the bus driver and conductor, according to Maharashtra minister Girish Mahajan earlier today.

Around 1:30 in the morning, an accident occurred on the bus while it was making its way from Nagpur to Pune. The bus’s interior caught on fire as a result of a ruptured tyre, according to the driver. Later, a fire started in the car’s fuel tank. Three children are among the deceased, while the remaining victims are all adults. Sunil Kadasane, the SP for Buldhana, informed reporters that the precise cause of the tragedy was yet unknown.

33 passengers made up the bus that was headed to Pune, according to the police. The tragedy was triggered by a tyre rupture, according to the bus owner, Virendra Darna.

Devendra Fadnavis ruled out road work on the Samruddhi-Mahamarg Motorway as the accident’s cause on Saturday.
