On Thursday, Hindu guru Swami Brahmaviharidas paid Prime Minister Narendra a visit at his home and expressed gratitude for managing the construction of the BAPS Hindu Temple, the first temple in Abu Dhabi, Dubai.

“Swami Brahmaviharidas met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at his residence at 11 AM on behalf of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, the entire BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, and the community at large of the UAE,” the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha said.

After the opening, Swami Brahmaviharidas gave the prime minister a garland as a thank you and updated him on the temple’s progress. In addition, he offered particular prayers for PM Modi’s health and welfare.

The first and biggest Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi was opened by Prime Minister Modi last month.

The BAPS Hindu temple, which is situated over 27 acres and was constructed at an expense exceeding Rs 700 crore, is also seen as an indication of the strengthening ties between India and the United Arab Emirates.

A long-cherished desire has come true, and years of hard work have gone into this temple, according to Prime Minister Modi, who called it a “golden chapter in human history that has been written in the UAE.”

The UAE community and tourists from all over the globe have greeted the temple with unwavering affection since it opened. On the first day, 65,000 people visited the temple.

Maha Shivaratri was celebrated in style at the temple, and there are intentions to keep up these colorful festivals, customs, and rituals.
