Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said Bhima Bhoi inspired Sabka Sath and Sabka Vikas

“Santhakabi Bhima Bhoi’s verses have not only enhanced Odia literature, but they have also become a never-ending source of inspiration for all of us,” said Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister and BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate for Sambalpur.

“An extract from Bhima Bhoi’s poem which says, ‘Praninka Arata Dukha Apramita, Dekhu Dekhu Ke Ba Sahu; Mo jibana pache Narke Padithau; Jagata Uddhara Heu,’ has shown the path of life to the entire world,” Pradhan said, quoting one of Bhoi’s well-known verses, during his campaign stop at Rairakhol on Monday.

His writings have had a significant impact on Odisha’s social, intellectual, cultural, and spiritual life. The minister said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has used ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’ in the governance system, inspired by the Santhakabi’s ideology,” adding that his writings were intended to eradicate casteism and untouchability and build social equality. On that day, Pradhan also garlanded the statue of Bhima Bhoi.

Later, he went to worship at the Sri Ram Temple and to meet the ruling god, “Panchkhanda,” of Rairakhol, in order to get blessings. Pradhan visited both temples for a while, mingling with the party workers and worshipers.

In a meeting with the Rairakhol grassroots workers, the minister pushed them to work hard to elect Narendra Modi as prime minister a third time.

Pradhan conducted his campaigning earlier on Sunday in Deogarh, where he took part in a sizable bike rally and then spoke at a public gathering in the district’s Tileibani block.
