Nadda will preside over a BJP meeting on the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections

A strategy session for the upcoming assembly elections and the Lok Sabha elections will be led by BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Wednesday.

According to party insiders, there would be a gathering of leaders involved in the BJP’s “Lok Sabha Pravas” program, a campaign to improve the party’s chances in almost 160 Lok Sabha seats, the majority of which it had lost in 2019.

In addition to the party’s office holders, a number of Union ministers have also been selected.

According to a BJP official, discussions would also center on the preparations being made for both the state elections and the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Assembly elections are scheduled for later this year in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram, Rajasthan, and Telangana.

The fact that these are the last set of state elections before the crucial Lok Sabha elections next year has given them even more weight, and the BJP is making every effort to put up an outstanding performance following its recent defeat to the Congress in Karnataka.
