National Creators Award: Jaya Kishori, Maithili Thakur, and blogger Kamiya Jani are on the list

National Creators Award 2024: On Friday, March 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the establishment of the first-ever ‘National Creators Award’ at the Bharat Mandapam in the nation’s capital, stating that the award is intended to serve as a springboard for using creativity to promote transformation. There has been a lot of public participation in this award; over 1.5 lakh nominations and almost 10 lakh votes have been cast.
Among the recipients of awards were singer Maithili Thakur for “Cultural Ambassador of the Year,” Pankhti Pandey for “Green Champion,” Keerthika Govindasamy for “Best Story Teller,” Gaurav Chaudhary for “Best Creator in Tech Category,” and Kamiya Jani for “Favorite Travel Creator.”

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the award is an attempt to recognize brilliance and influence in a variety of fields, such as gaming, storytelling, environmental sustainability, campaigning for social change, and education. The prize is meant to serve as a springboard for using creativity to promote good change.

At Bharat Mandapam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave Jaya Kishori the Best Creator for Social Change award.

 

Prime Minister Modi said, “Tomorrow, March 8, at 10:30 AM, I will be presenting the first-ever National Creators Award,” in a post on X. These awards honor inventiveness, originality, and the extraordinary spirit of the creative community.”

The People’s Choice Award

“The National Creator Award has seen excellent participation from the general population. More than 1.5 lakh nominations in 20 different categories were submitted in the first round. Following that, about 10 lakh votes were cast for digital creators across a number of award categories throughout the voting stage. 23 winners were chosen after that, three of whom were foreign inventors, according to the statement.

The large amount of public participation is proof that the award accurately represents the preferences of the voters.

Here are the candidates’ details:
Prominent figures include Dharna Durga, Komal Pandey, Yash, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Katrina Kaif are included. The National producers Award 2024 candidates have been revealed by the government, which honors digital content producers that foster innovation and good change. In the first edition, more than 200 candidates are competing for recognition.
The list of candidates includes well-known figures like Zakir Khan and Food Lovers, showcasing both established and up-and-coming talent. While Nancy Tyagi, Abhi, and Niyu are among the disruptors, TV stands out in the narrative area. Prominent proponents of social reform include Sandeep Maheshwari and Prajakta Koli; among agri-creators, Darshan Singh and Rythu Badi are noteworthy. In addition, the awards recognize artists in a variety of industries, including gaming, travel, and technology. Well-known brands like Visa2explore, Gaurav Chaudhary, and Total Gaming are among the nominees.

Among the more than 200 innovators nominated in a variety of categories, including storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, gaming, and others, are social media celebrities like Ankit Baiyanpuria. Sadhguru, football player Sunil Chhetri, and businessmen Aman Gupta and Nikhil Kamath are also on the list.

Notable candidates for ‘Best Creator for Social Change’ include motivational speaker Sandeep Maheshwari, trans activist Sushant Divgikr, and spiritual orator Jaya Kishori. Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan and podcast presenter Ranveer Allahbadia are two of the contenders for the Best Storyteller Award.

The top creators in other categories include those in computing, travel, cuisine, fashion, gaming, fitness, and education.
