On IPL match days, the last Metros in Bengaluru leave the terminals at 11.30 p.m.

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has chosen to extend the last train service from its four finishing stations to 11.30 pm on four specified days in order to make it easier for the general public to travel to and from the Chinnaswamy stadium during the TATA IPL-T20 match days in the city. Currently, at 11 p.m., the last train leaves the terminus stations.

Silk Institute, Challghatta, Kadugodi (Whitefield), and Nagasandra are the termini. April 15, May 4, May 12, and May 18 are the match days. According to an official statement, return travel paper tickets priced at Rs 50 would be on sale at all Metro stations starting at 2:00 pm on match days.

It also said that this ticket is only valid from 8 p.m. till the conclusion of extended services at the Cubbon Park and MG Road Metro stations for a single trip to any other Metro station. Commuters may also utilize NCMC Cards, Smart Cards, and tickets with QR codes. It is recommended that the public buy QR tickets via WhatsApp, Namma Metro App, or Pay TM well in advance on match days.
