PM Modi Applauds Women’s Reservation Bill Amid Celebrations At BJP Headquarters: “Didn’t Let Anyone’s Selfishness”

The passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in both chambers of Parliament, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Friday in his remarks to party leaders, employees, and others, is an example of how a nation with a majority government can function. After the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ (Women’s Reservation Bill) was approved in the Rajya Sabha, the BJP Mahila Morcha greeted PM Modi on Friday at the BJP Headquarters in a festive environment.

“Such a massive task might be finished when an absolute majority of the Government came to power in the nation…Prior to the women’s reservation, we did not allow anyone’s self-interest to become a barrier. Prior to this, whenever this Bill was brought before the Parliament, just lip service was given and no sincere attempts were made, he said.

“People did vote in favor of the bill, although some of them were unsure as to why the words ‘Nari Shakti Vandan’ were included. Shouldn’t salutations be made to the nation’s women? Should men and our political philosophy be so arrogant that we are upset by “Nari Shakti Vandan”? The Bill is now a reality when there is a stable government, he said.

Alina, a participant in the event, expressed her enthusiasm over the measure and told ANI that she hoped the Prime Minister would continue his outstanding work for the country’s women.

“PM Modi is doing incredibly wonderful job, and he respects and treats all women equally without making any distinctions. We hope he continues to advocate for all women in this way,” she added.

The Women’s Reservation Bill was first approved by the Rajya Sabha in 2010 when the UPA was run by the Congress, but it was not taken up in the Lok Sabha and eventually expired in the lower House of Parliament.
