PM Modi Engages With IFS Batch Officer Trainees

During a meeting with the Indian Foreign Service’s class of 2022 officer trainees on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the emphasis his administration has on the saturation of social programs.

According to a PMO statement, he said it led to the government reaching out to every poor individual without any prejudice.

He had a lengthy conversation with them and inquired about their early impressions of the government service.

They discussed the lessons they had learned while undergoing their training, especially during visits to villages as part of “Bharat darshan” and their loyalty to the armed forces.

The transforming effects of several government welfare programs, like the Jal Jeevan Mission and PM Awas Yojna, which they personally experienced, were also shared with the prime minister, he said.

He urged them to learn from the execution and accomplishments of the Aspirational District Programme since doing so may aid the developing nations of the Global South.

In addition, he questioned them about their experiences during India’s G20 chairmanship, according to the statement.

Speaking on environmental concerns, he expounded on the Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) and said that everyone can successfully combat climate change by changing their lifestyle.
