PM Modi tweets, “A memorable selfie with my friend Nazim” while in Kashmir

During his visit to Kashmir today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi snapped a selfie during a rally with an admirer.

At the ceremony, Nazim, a Viksit Bharat program recipient, spoke with the PM and asked for a photo, which he granted.

PM Modi wrote, “A memorable selfie with my friend Nazim” on X. His high quality of work amazed me. He was thrilled to see him, and he asked for a photo during the public meeting. I hope all of his future endeavors turn out well.

Earlier, on his first trip to Kashmir after Article 370 was repealed, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his administration would keep up its vigorous efforts to win over the hearts and minds of the people living in the Valley.

“Since I arrived here in 2014, I have consistently said that my goal is to win your hearts, and I am witnessing that I have succeeded in doing so. I’ll keep working hard at it. This is the Modi ki guarantee, and as you are aware, ‘Modi ki guarantee’ denotes a guarantee of promise fulfillment, PM Modi said at a public event in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.

The Prime Minister launched many initiatives pertaining to tourism and agriculture at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium while discussing the “Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir” program.

After the NDA administration headed by Prime Minister Modi abrogated the provisions of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, and divided the former state into the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, the government came under heavy fire from regional parties and other opposition parties throughout the nation.

This event is seen as a component of PM Modi’s campaign in advance of the general elections that are scheduled for April and May, which will be the first since the region’s independence was taken away. The region’s legislative assembly was last up for election in 2014.
