Prepared to discuss Cong and BJP accomplishments: Minister Priyank Kharge

BJP candidate for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Umesh Jadhav, of Kalaburagi, has challenged RDPR Minister Priyank Kharge to an open discussion on the accomplishments of the BJP administration and the Congress State administration.

Priyank told reporters here on Saturday that because the BJP has not made any progress on the development front, neither Dr. Jadhav nor the BJP are in a position to have an open discussion. Priyank enumerated the accomplishments of the Congress and stated, “But the Congress has done a lot for people when in power in the Center and now in Karnataka.”

Priyank questioned Dr. Jadhav, who has criticized the Congress, about where he obtained his MBBS. “Did the Congress government establish it or not?” With Priyank, what? He said that Dr. Jadhav became a political figure because of the Congress, which nominated him from Chincholi and elected him as an MLA. Priyank joked, “Dr. Jadhav acts like the president of the Modi Fans’ Association instead of an MP.”

Priyank enumerated the accomplishments of the past Congress administrations at the Center, noting that his father, Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the AICC, was instrumental in altering Article 371(J) to provide special status to districts in Kalyana, Karnataka. The efforts of my father, former chief minister Dharam Singh, led to the establishment of the Central University of Karnataka. Priyank said, “My father was the Union Labour Minister when the ESIC Medical Complex was formed, and he was the Railway Minister when Kalaburagi was given approval for a Railway Division. He went on, “Let Dr. Jadhav enumerate the things the BJP has done for Kalaburagi.”

‘3 Rs’ only accomplishments at the center, claims Priyank

Renaming, relaunching, and repackaging the Congress-launched projects are the only “3 Rs” that the BJP administration has accomplished at the federal level, according to RDPR Minister Priyank Kharge. “The majority of the Center’s programs called on the State Governments to participate in proportion. It implies that the State Governments have to share some of the credit as well,” he said.
