Prime Minister Modi Honors Saint Ravidas

In honor of Sant Ravidas on his birth day on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his message of peace and equality would inspire future generations.

On Friday, Modi was present at a celebration honoring Sant Ravidas’ 647th birthday in his home parliamentary district of Varanasi.

In a Hindi post on X, the prime minister said that his message of equality and peace would serve as an inspiration to all generations.

Ravidas is regarded as a great guru, particularly among the Dalits, and his teachings against discrimination and the unity of God have gained a lot of traction throughout time.
