Rahul told CM Gehlot at the Cong Strategy Meeting that workers must get their due in the government

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, reportedly urged Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot that party workers must get their due in government and advocated for a “dynamic role” for them in the few months remaining before the assembly elections, according to sources.

Along with Gandhi, senior leaders from the state included Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Party General Secretary in Charge Organization KC Venugopal, AICC in Charge of Rajasthan Sukhjinder Randhawa, State Unit Chief Govind Singh Dotasra, Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, and others.

Chief Minister Gehlot participated in the meeting via video conference despite having fractures in both of his toes.

Many leaders applauded the Gehlot administration’s social programs at the conference, but they also brought up the problem of employees not receiving their fair share of benefits and the dominance of bureaucracy, according to sources.

Gandhi responded by praising the Congress administration as “pro-people” but lamenting the fact that the working class was unable to play a significant part in politics. According to reports, he said that he would prefer a workers’ government with more participation for them the next time.

He emphasized that four months is a long time to take action if the chief minister wants to play a more “dynamic role” for the employees in the government.

On Thursday, the Congress said it can win the Rajasthan assembly elections if there is unity and issued a stern warning to anybody speaking outside the party forum or failing to maintain discipline.

While attempting to put a stop to discussions of disputes between Gehlot and his former deputy Pilot, who have often clashed in public, the Congress declared that it had settled all concerns.

Everyone agrees that they must cooperate in order to stem the trend of the state’s governing party losing power, the statement stated.
